Ansec led the Gannon women's volleyball team to a perfect 3-0 week with victories against Mercyhurst (3-2), Seton Hill (3-2) and California (Pa.) (3-0). The senior outside hitter averaged 2.58 kills per set while producing a .187 hitting percentage in 12 sets. She added nine digs and five blocks during the three-match span. Ansec came off the bench to give Gannon a lift against Mercyhurst, helping the Lady Knights rally from a 2-1 deficit. She produced seven kills against the Lakers. Ansec followed with 12 kills, four digs and two blocks during a five-set win at Seton Hill. She added 12 more kills, three digs and two blocks the next day during a sweep at Cal. Ansec hit .289 against the Vulcans, committing only one error in 38 attempts. She leads Gannon in kills (173) through 21 matches this season.
