Knight was a key ingredient and sparkplug for the Gannon men's basketball team's run to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championship last week. The senior guard is arguably one of the best sixth men in the entire country. He averaged 9.3 points, two rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 21.3 minutes per game off the bench during the regional. Knight had a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio. In the championship game against Kutztown, Knight scored 11 points while dishing out nine assists compared to zero turnovers. The Erie, Pa., native shot 50 percent from three-point range and made all six free throws during the three-game tournament.
