Lawrence led the Gannon men's swimming team to a 146-134 victory at crosstown rival Penn State Behrend, improving to 5-4 in dual meets this season. The true freshman was a double-winner. He set a pool record by winning the 1,000-yard freestyle with a PSAC-qualifying time of nine minutes and 53.53 seconds. Lawrence later added a second gold medal with a conference-qualifying time of 4:55.49 in the 500-yard freestyle. He has recorded five individual titles, 14 PSAC-qualifying times and a pool record during seven meets this season. Lawrence also helped relay teams win two titles this season.
