Papich was dominant this week while averaging 23.5 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds and two steals during two victories last week for the Gannon women's basketball team. The sophomore forward shot 63.3 percent from the floor and was 8-of-9 from the free throw line. She recorded eight assists, four steals, two blocks and turned the ball over only once in 54 minutes of action. Papich helped Gannon knock off nationally-ranked IUP with 16 points on 8-of-15 shooting. She tallied four assists and three steals without turning the ball over. Papich then exploded for a career-high 31 points as the Lady Knights avenged an earlier loss to California (Pa.) with a 92-76 win. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native sunk 11 of her 15 attempts from the floor and was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. She drained a three, added four assists, one block and one steal during the win.
