Rzymek led the Gannon women's swim team to a sixth-place finish out of 13 teams at the 2011 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. The sophomore was the lone Gannon female swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships scheduled for March 9-12 in San Antonio, Texas. She qualified with an NCAA A-cut time of 55.80 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing second and narrowly missing an individual title by less than one second. Rzymek will also have the chance to swim the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle at the national championships. She met NCAA B-cut standards in those two events, finishing fifth in both the 50-yard freestyle (23.96) and the 100-yard freestyle (52.15). Rzymek also helped several Gannon relay teams finish high at the PSAC Championships. She was part of the 400-yard freestyle team that finished third with an NCAA B-cut time of 3:29.44, the 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed fourth with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:35.84 and the 800-yard freestyle relay team that finished fourth with a time of 7:42.28. This marks Rzymek's second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championships. She earned all-america status last year as a member of the Gannon 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.
