Expected to compete in freestyle and fly events … owns the school record in the 100-yard butterfly (55.80) … held the school’s 100-yard freestyle (51.92) record until it was broken last season … has a share of all five Gannon relay records … was part of relay teams that own school records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.84), the 400-yard freestyle (3:29.44), the 800-yard freestyle (7:42.28), the 200-yard medley (1:46.64) and the 400-yard medley (3:55.56).

2011-12: Participated in butterfly, freestyle and IM events … captured individual gold medals during the 100-yard butterfly at the Assumption/Lake Erie Tri-Meet and the Allegheny Dual Meet … recorded NCAA “B” cut times during both the prelims (57.37) and the finals (57.82) of the 100-yard butterfly while placing third at the Mid-Season Invitational … added NCAA “B” cut times during both the prelims (24.36) and the finals (24.26) of the 50-yard freestyle at the same event, finishing second … recorded PSAC-qualifying times during six of 10 events in the 100-yard butterfly, including each of the first four … also qualified for the conference championships in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle … placed among the top three 14 times and the top five 17 times … was one of Gannon’s top relay swimmers, helping her teams win the gold medal 13 times, including all six times she swam the 200-yard freestyle relay … helped rattle off victories during the first four 400-yard freestyle relay races of the season … never finished lower than fifth during 24 relay events … placed in the top three during 20 of 24 relay races.

2010-11: Earned All-PSAC accolades as an individual in the 100-yard butterfly and as part of Gannon’s 400-yard freestyle relay team … was one of six Lady Knights to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships … reset her own school record in the 100-yard butterfly (55.80) at the PSAC Championships, finishing second … broke the school record in the 100-yard freestyle (51.92) … helped set new school relay records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.84), the 400-yard freestyle (3:29.44), the 800-yard freestyle (7:42.28), the 200-yard medley (1:46.64) and the 400-yard medley (3:55.56) at the conference championships … guided the Lady Knights to a third-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle, a fourth-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle, a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle and a seventh-place finish in the 400-yard medley … produced 14 PSAC-qualifying times, representing the third-highest total on the team … had conference-qualifying times in the 100-yard butterfly, the 200-yard butterfly, the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle … recorded 15 top-three finishes, equaling the second-highest total on the team … won four individual races, including victories in the 100-yard butterfly against NCAA Division I Canisius (59.39) and during the Indiana (Pa.) Invitational … set a pool record during her Canisius swim … was part of a team-high 10 relay victories … helped set the 200-yard freestyle relay meet record (1:40.19) at the Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet … finished fifth at the PSAC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle (23.96) and the 100-yard freestyle (52.15).

2009-10: Earned All-PSAC honors as part of the 200-yard freestyle team, which finished third at the PSAC Championships … qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle teams … also participated in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard butterfly individual events at the national championships … earned all-america honors as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams … broke school records in the 100-yard butterfly (57.28) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.19) … was part of relay teams that broke school records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:36.26), the 200-yard medley (1:46.92) and the 400-yard medley (3:57.33).

High School: Swam for head coach Dave Schultz at McDowell (Pa.) High School … earned all-america honors six times … named Swimmer of the Year … broke five school records … finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly, fourth in the medley relay and sixth in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the state championships … was a two-sport athlete, being named to the all-state honorable-mention team in water polo … helped McDowell finish fifth at the state water polo championship and sixth at the state swimming championships.

Personal: Accounting major … has two sisters … daughter of Mary Dale and John.
