Ruggiero helped the Gannon women's swimming and diving team captured a tight 128-115 victory at Fredonia State in the Lady Knights' only action of the week. The sophomore placed in the top three during three events. The sophomore captured first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:07.70, season-best), before finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.52) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.72). She recorded three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) times this season - one in each the 200-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle and the 1,650-yard freestyle. Her 1,000-yard freestyle result at Fredonia State was the first time she finished first this season.
