Bennett was involved in every goal for the Gannon men's soccer team during two matches last week against Bloomsburg and Lock Haven, scoring twice and dishing out two assists. The junior forward scored the eventual game-winner during a 2-0 victory against Bloomsburg in the 16th minute. It was his fifth career game-winning goal and second of the season. His assist off a header then helped ice the victory with 9:41 remaining. The Pinetown, South Africa, native dished out another assist on the game-tying goal at Lock Haven during the 38th minute. Ninety seconds later, he scored the go-ahead goal. Bennett, who was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week, moved into Gannon's all-time top 15 in scoring with his goal last Saturday at Lock Haven, giving him 75 career points. He also moved into 13th place in career goals with 31.
