Biography
Should compete in backstroke and fly events … broke the school record in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.36) as a sophomore, before her record was broken in 2009-10 … was a member of the relay team that broke the school record in the 200-medley (1:48.52) in 2008-09 and then broken again (1:46.92) in 2009-10.
2009-10: Was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete for the second consecutive season … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.
2008-09: Was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete.
High School: Swam for head coach Eric Smith at Franklin Area (Pa.) High School … received the Outstanding Swimmer award twice … was a three-time All-Venango County selection … received the Wayne Eakin, President’s Education and Army National Scholar-Athlete awards … named to the All-Berks County team once … received the Franklin High School Directors award three times.
Personal: Nursing major … has one sister and one brother … daughter of Beverly and Todd … is also a member of the Army ROTC.
