Expected to compete in IM and butterfly events for the third consecutive season … enters the 2013-14 campaign as Gannon’s record holder in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.35).
2012-13: Competed in butterfly and IM events … secured her lone gold medal of the season in the 50-yard butterfly (29.25) at Penn State Behrend … produced PSAC-qualifying times during both the prelims and finals of the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard butterfly at the Wooster Invitational … finished 11th in the 200-yard butterfly at the PSAC Championships with a season-low time of two minutes and 12.93 seconds … recorded six top-five individual finishes … placed second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.51) at Penn State Behrend … had fourth-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.67) at Lake Erie, the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.53) at Canisius and the 200-yard butterfly (2:30.72) at Lake Erie … competed with relay teams in the 200-yard medley, the 400-yard medley and the 200-yard freestyle … posted top-four finishes during four of five relays in the 200-yard medley … swam the third leg of the 400-yard medley relay team (4:21.06) that finished second at Penn State Behrend … took care of the second leg for the 200-yard freestyle team (1:49.75) that placed second at Fredonia State.
2011-12: Participated individually in IM, butterfly and backstroke events … captured an individual title in the 400-yard IM (4:46.40) at the Allegheny Dual Meet, the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.00) at the Penn State Behrend Dual Meet and the 200-yard butterfly (2:16.84) at the Fredonia State Dual Meet … recorded 17 PSAC-qualifying times in the 400-yard IM, the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard butterfly … met conference standards during 10 of the 11 times she swam the 200-yard butterfly … had five PSAC-qualifying times in the 400-yard IM and two in the 100-yard butterfly … produced 12 individual top-three finishes … was part of seven relay championships … helped set a Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet record in the 400-yard IM relay with a winning time of four minutes and 15.7 seconds … completed the record by swimming the anchor leg in one minute and 3.78 seconds … was part of gold-winning teams in the 400-yard freestyle relay three times and the 400-yard medley relay twice … added a title in the 3X100 butterfly relay at the Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet … recorded nine top-three relay finishes.
2010-11: Broke the school records in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.35), the 200-yard IM (2:11.81) and the 400-yard IM (4:35.87) … set the new marks in the 200-yard butterfly and the 200-yard IM at the Mid-Season Invitational … later broke the 400-yard IM record at the PSAC Championships … recorded 17 PSAC-qualifying times in four different events (200-yard IM, 400-yard IM, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly) … finished seventh at the PSAC Championships in the 400-yard IM and ninth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:07.35) … was part of four winning relay teams, including a pair of 200-yard medley titles against Penn State Behrend and Fredonia State … had 11 top-three finishes in relay events … touched the wall first in four individual events, including a pair of 200-yard IM first-place finishes against Penn State Behrend and NCAA Division I Canisius … won the 400-yard IM against Allegheny and the 100-yard butterfly against Penn State Behrend … had 14 top-three finishes during individual races … produced a season-best time of 59.83 in the 100-yard butterfly at the Mid-Season Invitational.
High School: Swam for head coach Corky Semler at North Allegheny (Pa.) High School … was a four-year letterwinner … earned all-america honors twice … named team MVP as a junior … qualified for the district championships as a junior and senior … placed second in the 100-yard butterfly and third in the 200-yard IM as a senior … was a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams that finished first at the district championships during both her junior and senior campaigns … was a three-time state qualifier … helped North Allegheny win back-to-back district championships.
