Komorek is expected to compete for playing time in the pool for the third consecutive season after being Gannon's starting goalkeeper as a freshman ... enters the 2011 season sixth all-time at Gannon in saves (118) despite playing only one season in goal.

2010: Received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) “Outstanding” academic team reserved for water polo student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average between 3.71 and 4.0 … recorded five goals, four assists, eight steals and five earned kickoffs … scored her first goal of the season against Caltech … added scores against Penn State Behrend twice, Chatham and Michigan.

2009: Recorded seven goals and three assists … shot 21 times … made 12 steals … had nine kickouts … recorded two goals during a victory against Chatham … produced a hat trick during a win against Grove City on April 18.

2008: Named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) All-Academic team, being selected to the "Outstanding" group reserved for those with a cumulative grade-point average between 3.71 and 4.0 ... made 118 saves, the eighth-highest single-season total in school history … tallied nine saves against Pomona on March 6 … had eight saves during a 12-1 victory against Utica on March 14 … recorded seven saves during a win against Penn State-Behrend on April 5.

High School: Played for head coach Dave Schultz at McDowell (Pa.) High School ... named Rookie of the Year as a freshman ... received the Donald Locke Memorial Award ... was a two-sport athlete, receiving the Pam Fischer Leadership Award and the No "I" in Team Award in swimming ... named to the National Interscholastic Coaches Association Academic All-America team ... lettered four times in swimming and three times in water polo ... served as a team captain for both teams ... was part of a McDowell swimming program that won the District 10 championship during all four years she competed ... played on the 2004 Pennsylvania State Water Polo Championship team ... graduated in the top 10 percent of her class ... served as the National Honor Society Treasurer ... was a Scholar-Athlete.
