Biography

Harriger is Gannon’s top returning scorer ... enters the 2012 season fourth all-time at Gannon in goals (143), 10th in sprint-offs (12), 11th in assists (58), 12th in earned kickouts (31) and 12th in steals (117) ... is also a member of the Gannon swim team.

2011: Was Gannon’s top scorer with 69 goals … led the squad in assists (20), steals (59) and field saves (10) … finished fifth on the team in earned kickouts (17) … led Gannon in first-quarter goals (22) and fourth-quarter goals (21) … named to the Capital One Academic All-America Women’s At-Large second team … earned Capital One Academic All-District II Women’s At-Large first-team honors … selected to the All-CWPA Western Division second team … produced the fourth-highest single-season goal total and the eighth-highest steal total in school history … recorded a season-high seven goals during a 14-6 victory against Grove City … had 15 hat tricks … produced six goals while adding four steals against NCAA Division I Iona … accounted for five goals in addition to five steals against Grove City … scored four goals against NCAA Division I programs Maryland, Marist and Brown … duplicated four-goal performances against Marist and Grove City … added three goals against NCAA Division I programs Siena, Hartwick and Indiana … also finished contests against Washington & Jefferson, Mercyhurst (twice) and Chatham with three scores … made at least three steals in a match 11 times … recorded a season-high seven steals during a 12-6 victory against Notre Dame (Ohio) … finished with 19 multiple-goal performances.

2010: Scored 46 goals, representing the second-highest total on the team and 11th-highest single-season total in school history … led the team in field saves (24) … tied for the team lead in assists (25) … added 28 steals … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) “Outstanding” academic team reserved for water polo student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average between 3.71 and 4.0 … landed a spot on the All-Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Western Division second team … named to the ESPN The Magazine College Division All-District 2 Women’s At-Large third team … selected CWPA Player of the Week on March 1 after scoring 12 goals and recording four hat tricks during a five-match road swing to California … missed first two weekends due to swimming commitments, but recorded hat tricks during her first four matches back … scored multiple goals in a match 15 times … had eight hat tricks … netted a season-high four goals twice against Grove City, helping Gannon win both matches … added four goals against NCAA Division I Wagner … finished the season with four scores against Mercyhurst during the CWPA Western Division third-place match.

2009: Was third on the team in goals (28) and assists (13) … recorded 30 steals, tied for second-most on the team … led the team in field saves (9) … won five sprint-offs … scored two goals against Chapman on March 4 … collected two goals during a loss to NCAA Division I Michigan on March 13 … recorded a hat trick against Marist on March 15 … matched her season-high with three goals during a win against Washington & Jefferson on March 28 … found the back of the net twice during a loss to NCAA Division I Indiana on April 3 … tied for the team lead in multiple-goal performances (11).

High School: Played for head coaches Dave Schultz and Josh Heynes at McDowell (Pa.) High School … named team MVP twice … was a two-time all-state selection, landing a spot on the first team as a senior and second team as a junior … is McDowell’s all-time leader in steals and field saves ... owns McDowell’s single-season records in steals, field saves and assists … helped team win the 2004-05 state championship … contributed to a state runner-up team in 2005-06 … listed in "Who’s Who Among American High School Students" … graduated as McDowell's Valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average ... was a member of the Distinguished Honor Roll ... honored as a National Merit Scholar.
