2023: Suffered season-ending injury in preseason and received medical redshirt year.

At New Mexico State:  Redshirted as a member of the Aggies in 2022 … was named the Scout Team Player of the Year … NMSU made goal game for just the third time, defeating Bowling Green 24-19 in the Quick Lane Bowl to finish at 7-6.

At College of the Canyons:  Appeared in four games while playing for the Cougars in 2021 as a freshman … completed 7-of-10 passes for 96 yards with a touchdown and an interception … went 5-for-5 for 83 yards and a touchdown in a 47-7 win over Antelope Valley CC ... helped the Cougars finish at 8-3 and reach the 2021 SCFA Southern California playoffs.

Personal: Business major … son of Ronna and Roger Bearss … has one brother, Briar, who played linebacker at Army West Point … father played defensive back at Central Michigan.
