Biography

Ondrus could arguably be described as Gannon's most versatile player ... is expected to be one of Gannon's top hitters and pitchers again in 2008 ... will play right field when she isn't throwing from the mound.

2008: Saw action in 32 games as a field player, starting 30 ... led the team in hitting during her first collegiate action as a hitter, posting a .382 average ... earned All-GLIAC honorable-mention accolades ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team … ranked third among GLIAC players in batting average and 18th in earned run average (3.61) ... pitched in 23 games, starting 19 … won 10 of 19 pitching decisions … went 4-for-4 against Clarion April 22, scoring a run … recorded three hits and two RBIs against Findlay April 6 … had six multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games ... hit .556 (15-27) with runners on base, .550 (11-20) with runners in scoring position, and .313 (5-16) with two outs ... threw five shutout innings during a victory over Dowling (N.Y.) March 2 … struck out eight batters and did not allow an earned run during a complete-game victory over Clarion April 22.

2007:
Made nine appearances before receiving a medical redshirt ... posted a 4-1 record in six starts ... won her first four decisions.

2006:
Pitched in 15 games as a true freshman, starting three ... earned her first career victory with four innings of work against West Liberty State and her first career save with three scoreless innings against Catawba ... allowed one run during her first career start.

High School:
Played for head coach Brenda Radabaugh at Clay (Ohio) High School ... was an All-Ohio and All-Northwest Ohio District selection ... led Clay to the Northwest Ohio District championship as a senior ... was a two-time letterwinner and All-Toledo City League selection while leading Clay to the Northwest Ohio Sectional Championship as a junior and senior ... was a key member of the 2002 Florida FAST ASA National Champion ... graduated Magna Cum Laude ... graduated in the top 10 percent of her class ... was a member of the honor roll for four years and National Honor Society for two years.
