Biography

Guerrero returns after receiving a medical redshirt in 2010 ... started at third base as a true freshman, before splitting starts at second base and in centerfield as a sophomore … has the ability to play multiple positions.

2010: Played in one game, before seeing her season come to an end due to an injury … received a medical redshirt … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award.

2009: Was one of four Lady Knights to start every game … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … ranked 32nd among all NCAA Division II players in walks per game (0.6) … produced a .343 slugging percentage and .425 on-base percentage … reached base 39.3 percent (11-28) of the time when leading off an inning … drove in a run six out of nine times when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … had six multiple-hit games … ended the season with a season-high five-game hitting streak … went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI against Lake Erie … also went 3-for-4 with two RBI during the first game of a doubleheader against Point Park … ripped her only home run of the season in the second game, finishing 2-for-2 … was 5-for-6 with one and three RBI during the Point Park doubleheader … produced a 4-for-6 day during a twinbill against rival Edinboro, scoring twice and driving in one run … hit .368 during the first 22 games.

2008: Saw action in 50 games as a true freshman, all starts … produced a .309 slugging percentage and .313 on-base percentage ... drove in 22 runs … had six multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games ... reached base 40 percent (14-35) of the time when leading off an inning … hit .340 (18-53) with runners on base ... recorded her first career hit at Nova Southeastern on February 28 ... hit her first career homer April 6 against Findlay … recorded three hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs against Clarion April 22 ... finished 5-for-9 with two runs and three RBI during the doubleheader against Clarion.

High School: Played for head coaches Steve Parill and Frank Zaleski at St. Ursula Academy (Ohio) High School ... was a two-time all-city first-team selection ... named to the all-district first team as a junior and second team as a senior ... selected team captain as a senior ... named St. Ursula Academy’s offensive player of the year as a junior ... helped St. Ursula Academy win the district championship and advance to the state Final Four as a sophomore.
