2011-12: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Academic All-America honorable-mention squad … selected PSAC Wrestler of the Week January 9 after his 4-3 upset victory against nationally-ranked Jacob Southwick during the final match-up of the night gave the Golden Knights a 22-18 dual victory against 10th-ranked Ashland … became the first wrestler at the time to defeat Southwick, who was ranked third in the country … finished 8-12 overall and 4-4 in dual meets while wrestling as a heavyweight … was one of nine Golden Knights to record multiple pins … went 2-2 at the Mercyhurst Open, recording his first pin of the season against Seton Hill’s Jake Sanford during the wrestlebacks … added a second pin against Shippensburg’s Jacob Nale during his first match in the wrestlebacks at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One … placed fifth at the regional with a 2-2 record, winning the fifth-place match with a 6-3 victory against American International’s Matthew Pringle.

2010-11: Redshirted … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … posted an 0-2 record while competing unattached … saw his only action of the season with two matches at the University of Buffalo Open.

High School: Wrestled for head coach Rocky Ciccozzi at Cape May (N.J.) High School … qualified for the district championship four times, earning runner-up honors three times and champion honors once … qualified for the regional tournament three times, earning runner-up honors twice and champion honors once … finished seventh in the state of New Jersey as a senior.

Personal: Education major … has three brothers and one sister … is the son of Valerie and Chuck.
