ERIE, PA - Gannon's Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy/International School of Modena) has been named the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the conference on Wednesday. 

Delorenzi had an incredible second day of the Pawley's Island Beach Bash in South Carolina. The senior carded a three-under 69 to finish second for the tournament and the lone GU golfer under par (-1).

It's his fourth top five and fifth top ten finish of the season for the Italian, who went two-under 34 on the final nine holes.

This is the fourth time Delorenzi has been named PSAC Athlete of the Week during his career (3/15/23, 4/26/23, 10/1/25, 3/18/26).
