ERIE, PA - Gannon's Victoria Colmenares (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/ICL Academy) has been named the PSAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the conference on Wednesday. 

Colmenares went 78-79 over the two days of the Pawley's Island Beach Bash to claim ninth in her first tournament of the spring season.

She tied her career low round of 78 on Monday and followed it up with a 79 on Tuesday, including an impressive two-over 38 on the front nine holes.

Gannon continues the season next week at the Vulcan Fire Classic in California, PA.
