LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its 2026 men's soccer postseason awards with Gannon once again well represented among the major award winners. The Golden Knights received three of the four major awards for the PSAC Western Division, while six players earned All-PSAC West recognition, including four first-team selections and two second-team honorees.

Head coach Billy Colton was named the PSAC West Coach of the Year for the fourth consecutive season and fifth time overall. Senior forward Rafa Hyde (São José dos Campos, Brazil/Objetivo Aquarius) was selected the Athlete of the Year, while senior defender Jensen Peake (Staffordshire, England/Friary) earned Defensive Athlete of the Year honors.

Seton Hill freshman Rafael Santos claimed the conference's remaining major award as the PSAC West Freshman of the Year.

Hyde and Peake were joined on the first team by junior midfielder Ryko Bodurov (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy Berlin) and junior forward Per Kristian Lauvstad (Nesoya, Norway). Junior defender Carl Dorner (Skødstrup, Denmark) and freshman midfielder Mario Lindo (Madrid, Spain/IES Juan Gris) earned second-team honors.

Colton earned his fifth PSAC West Coach of the Year award after previously receiving the honor in 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025. He became the first coach in conference history to earn the award in three consecutive seasons and has now extended that streak to four.

Colton guided the Golden Knights to their fourth straight PSAC West regular-season championship in 2026 and reached his 100th career victory at Gannon with a 1-0 win over Felician on September 13. Now completing his eighth season, Colton owns an impressive 109-26-17. He ranks third in career wins at Gannon. A year ago he led the Golden Knights to their first PSAC championship.

Gannon improved to 12-3-3 overall following a 2-1 victory over Shepherd in the PSAC quarterfinals on Sunday, November 1. The Golden Knights have scored a conference-leading 47 goals in 18 matches, averaging 2.61 goals per contest. Gannon also leads the PSAC with a plus-24 goal differential and ranks among the conference leaders in assists with 43.

Hyde headlines Gannon's all-conference contingent after another outstanding season leading the Golden Knights' offensive attack. The senior forward from São José dos Campos, Brazil, leads the PSAC with 15 goals and 34 points in 18 matches while adding four assists. His 15 goals are tied for ninth in NCAA Division II based on the latest available national leaderboard. Hyde also ranks third in the conference in shots with 56 and second in shots on goal with 28, while contributing three game-winning goals.

Hyde has climbed into a tie for eighth in career goals (44) and is 11th in career points with 108.

The honor marks Hyde's second consecutive first-team All-PSAC West selection after earning the recognition in 2025. He becomes the sixth different Golden Knight to earn PSAC West Athlete of the Year honors, joining Afrim Latifi (2010), Sean Pike (2012), Alex Lee Yaw (2019), Tinashe Katsande (2023) and two-time winner Sverre Orten (Orsta, Norway/Aalesund vgs) (2024, 2025).

Hyde also becomes the first player in program history to earn both PSAC West Freshman of the Year (2023) and Athlete of the Year honors.

Peake added another major honor to his resume after being named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year. The senior defender from Staffordshire, England, has been a key contributor on both ends of the field, appearing in all 18 matches while leading the conference with 10 assists. He has also contributed one goal for 12 points.

Peake becomes the fourth different Golden Knight to earn PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year honors, joining goalkeeper Chandler Hallwood (2019), four-time All-PSAC First Team defender Bautista Corti (2021) and two-time winner Pau Ferrer (Valencia, Spain/ISES Isabel de Villena) (2023, 2024).

Peake also earned first-team All-PSAC West recognition for the second consecutive season after receiving the honor in 2025. He has played an important role in Gannon's defensive efforts, helping the Golden Knights record four shutouts.

Bodurov earned his first All-PSAC West selection following a strong junior season in the midfield. A transfer from Division I Bowling Green, the Columbus, Ohio, native has appeared in all 18 matches during his first season with the Golden Knights, contributing four goals and five assists for 13 points. Bodurov ranks second on the team with 44 shots, including 23 on goal, and has added one game-winning goal. His 23 shots on goal rank fifth in the PSAC.

Lauvstad joined Hyde on the first team after emerging as one of Gannon's top offensive threats. The junior forward has appeared in 14 matches, ranking second on the team and in the PSAC with nine goals while adding four assists for 22 points. His 1.57 points per game rank among the conference leaders, while his three game-winning goals are tied with Hyde for the team lead.

Dorner earned second-team All-PSAC West honors for the second consecutive season after another strong campaign anchoring Gannon's defense. The junior defender from  Skødstrup, Denmark has appeared in all 18 matches, contributing one goal and one assist for three points. He has played a key role in helping the Golden Knights record four shutouts while allowing 23 goals. Dorner scored his third career goal in Gannon's 9-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown on September 26.

Lindo, a native of Madrid, Spain, rounded out Gannon's all-conference selections with a spot on the second team. The freshman midfielder has made an immediate impact in his first season with the Golden Knights, appearing in 17 matches and contributing four goals and six assists for 14 points. His six assists rank third on the team and fourth in the PSAC, while his 14 points rank fourth among Golden Knights. Lindo has also recorded 22 shots, including 10 on goal, and one game-winning goal.
