LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gannon women's soccer senior Brooklyn Respecki (McKean, Pa./General McLane) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Athlete of the Week for the third time this season following an impressive two-match performance that helped the Golden Knights post an unbeaten 1-0-1 record last week.

Respecki, a native of McKean, Pa., totaled seven points on two goals and three assists as Gannon battled to a 2-2 draw at Slippery Rock on Wednesday, Oct. 21, before earning a 3-1 Senior Day victory over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The senior opened the week with a goal and an assist against Slippery Rock, finishing with three points. She followed with a four-point performance against Pitt-Johnstown, recording a goal and two assists to help the Golden Knights secure the victory.

Respecki continues to climb Gannon's all-time record book, currently ranking second in program history with 132 career points on 46 goals and 40 assists.

She trails only Mani Brueckner (137 points) for the program's career scoring record, sitting just five points away from tying the mark.

Respecki also ranks second in career assists behind Brueckner's school record of 45 and is tied with Brueckner for second in career goals, trailing Amanda Sharbaugh's school record of 51.

The award marks Respecki's third PSAC West Athlete of the Week honor this season. Gannon enters the final week of the regular season at 12-2-3 overall and 11-2-2 in PSAC West action, three points behind first-place Slippery Rock.

Gannon concludes the regular season at Clarion this week as the Golden Knights look to avenge a 2-1 loss to the Golden Eagles earlier this season before turning their attention to the PSAC Tournament.
