ERIE, Pa. – Gannon Athletics Director Meghan Morphy has announced the addition of Bill Bradley as an assistant coach for the Golden Knights men's and women's swimming programs.
Bradley joins the Gannon staff after spending more than four years as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs at the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he led all facets of the program while fostering a strong culture of academic and athletic success.
During his tenure at Fredonia, Bradley implemented comprehensive training plans for swimmers and divers, coordinated all recruiting efforts, supervised assistant coaches and diving coaches, and managed team travel and competition schedules, including annual winter training trips. He also launched and hosted the annual Blue Devil Invitational beginning in 2023 and oversaw fundraising, alumni relations, and social media initiatives.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Bradley managed natatorium operations at Fredonia, including facility scheduling, rentals, upkeep, and the hiring and supervision of lifeguard staff. In Spring 2025, he developed and coordinated Fredonia's TOPSwim program, providing individualized swim lessons at no cost to youth with special needs in the local community.
Bradley also brings extensive club coaching experience, having served as head coach of the Hammerhead Swim Club from 2018 to 2022. There, he worked with swimmers across all age groups while overseeing meet entries, USA Swimming and SafeSport compliance, and supervising assistant coaches and learn-to-swim instructors.
A former standout student-athlete, Bradley competed for Fredonia from 2014 to 2018 and served as a two-year team captain. He earned multiple All-SUNYAC honors and was part of program-record-setting relay teams during his collegiate career.
Bradley earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Fredonia in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University at Buffalo School of Management.
