Gannon Athletics Earns 3.475 Cumulative Team Fall GPA

More Than 100 Student-Athletes with a 4.0 Semester GPA

ERIE, Pa. - Gannon takes great pride in the achievements of its student-athletes in the classroom. Golden Knight student-athletes recently completed another unprecedented semester academically. After posting a cumulative grade point average of 3.497 during the Spring 2025 semester, Gannon's more than 600 student-athletes posted an impressive 3.475 cumulative GPA in the Fall 2025 semester. 
 
In addition to the successful GPA during the fall as teams, 106 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the semester.
 
The 12 women's intercollegiate teams produced a combined 3.558 GPA during Fall 2025, with all 12 posting at least a 3.029 GPA. The nine men's intercollegiate teams produced a combined 3.364 GPA. Eight of those programs had a GPA of at least 3.359.
 
Women's Cross Country had the highest GPA of 3.743, followed by Women's Swimming at 3.715 and then Men's Swimming at 3.713.
 
In addition to the above teams, Volleyball (3.692), Women's Water Polo (3.687) Men's Golf (3.674), Softball (3.658), Women's Basketball (3.644), Men's Cross Country (3.632), Women's Golf (3.628), and Lacrosse (3.620) all recorded GPA's of at least 3.60 or above. 
 
During the 2025 Fall semester, Kyle Westfall (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy (Erie)) (Men's Golf), Carissa Treser (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) (Volleyball), and Troy Croscut-Miller (North East, Pa./North East) (Men's Soccer) were all awarded PSAC Champion Scholar for their respective sport. Sverre Orten (Orsta, Norway/Aalesund vgs) of Men's Soccer was named the 2025 Academic All-America® Men's Soccer Team member of the Year, and he and two other players were named scholar All-Americans. On the women's soccer side, Ella Fadale (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport) earned CSC Academic All- American® honors for a second straight year and six were awarded Academic All-District, as was Sydney Wake (Massillon, Ohio/Jackson) from Volleyball. In Men's Water Polo, senior Alexandros Kotskar (Voula, Greece/Athinaiki Agogh) was named to the ACWPC All-American First Team.
