LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference is celebrating its 75th anniversary season in 2025-26 and will honor 300 of its most prominent contributors throughout the month of September in the fall of 2025.
The first 75 honorees are designated "Made in the PSAC", a group that recognizes former student-athletes that have gone on to influential careers after graduation (which could be in the sports industry, but not necessarily as a professional athlete.)
"For 75 years, the PSAC has been more than a conference--it's been a proving ground for excellence, leadership, and lifelong impact," said PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray. "The 'Made in the PSAC' honorees reflect the very best of what our institutions represent. Their achievements stand as a testament to the transformative power of Division II athletics and the values that define the PSAC: integrity, resilience, and a commitment to something greater than oneself."
Three former Gannon student-athletes were selected to the "Made in the PSAC" honoree list:
Brittany Batts – Women's Basketball, 2011-15; Assistant Coach, 2021-25
- Current head coach at University of South Carolina Aiken and former assistant coach at Gannon; 2023-24 WBCA DII Assistant Coach of the Year; scored 1,152 career points at GU; second in career 3-point FG made (286), seventh in 3-point FG% (.416)
Austin Ludwik – Men's Soccer, 2016-19
- Team captain and Second Team All-America in 2019 when Gannon won first PSAC regular season title; currently plays for Brisbane Roar in the A-League; captained Gold Coast Knights (second tier of Australian football) where he earned 3x Player of the Year honors
Lauren Myrick – Gannon, Swimming, Water Polo, 2008-11
- Two years as Captain of swim team and member of the water polo team; served on SAAC as president; runs her own Coaching & Consulting Firm as a Peak Performance & Mindset Coach, Speaker, and Workshop Facilitator to help teams/leaders prevent burnout
The 75th anniversary celebration continues with the release of the 75 Greatest Female Athletes on Sep. 10, 75 Greatest Male Athletes on September 17, and Distinguished Keystones on September 24.
