Brooklyn Respecki (McKean, Pa./General McLane) has been recognized as the PSAC West Offensive Athlete of the Week after leading the No. 7-ranked Gannon women's soccer team to a pair of victories.
Respecki powered the Golden Knights to a 2–0 week in PSAC West play, scoring twice and adding an assist in road victories over Edinboro and Pitt-Johnstown.
She totaled five points on the week, highlighted by the game-winning goal against UPJ, while leading all players with 16 shots and nine on target.
The award marks the fourth PSAC weekly honor of her career, and her second straight after also earning the accolade last week. It also extends Gannon's streak to three consecutive weeks with a Golden Knight receiving a PSAC Athlete of the Week honor.
With Respecki leading the charge, Gannon improved to 2–0 in the PSAC West and has outscored its first two league opponents 5–2.
