Gannon Seeded Second in Atlantic Regional, Will Face No. 7 East Stroudsburg in Opening Round

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA confirmed late Sunday night what the Gannon men's basketball team accomplished earlier Sunday. The Golden Knights won their second straight PSAC Championship with a 74-68 win at Shepherd to earn the PSAC's automatic berth into the tournament.

Gannon will make its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Div. II Atlantic Regional. The Golden Knights are the number two seed and enter the regional riding a nine-game winning streak.

West Liberty, the Mountain East Conference runner-up, is the top seed and will host the Atlantic Regional. First-round games are set for Saturday, March 15 with the semifinals on Sunday and the regional championship game on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers are no stranger to the regional and own a 27-4 record.

First-year head coach Easton Bazzoli has guided the Golden Knights to a 25-6 record. They finished as the PSAC West regular season champions for the second straight year. Gannon looks to defend its 2024 Atlantic Regional title and reach the Elite Eight for the second straight year.
