GROVE CITY, Ohio – Ditte Petersen (Dianalund, Denmark/Sorø Akademi Skole) placed sixth as an individual as the Gannon women's golf team finished fifth in the team race at the NC4K College Classic.

Petersen shot 4-over-par 76 on Tuesday to close the two-day tournament with a 4-over 148 total at Pinnacle Country Club. Gannon golfers carded a 313 on the second day after recording a 312 on Monday as the Golden Knights finished with a 49-over 625 total.

The University of Indianapolis won the tournament with 6-over 582 total after shooting a 2-under 286 on Tuesday. Tournament champion Anci Dy carded a course-record, 7-under 65 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at 9-under 135.

Cloe Mateo (Sabadell, Spain/Montcau la Mola) had Gannon's low round of the day with an even-par 72. She tied for 13th with 154 after shooting 82 on Monday.

Gannon's lineup was rounded out by Victoria Colmenares (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/ICL Academy) (161), Andrea Martinez (Tarragona, Spain/Col·legi Vedruna Sagrat Cor) (162), Sarah White (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) (171), and Zoey McClain (Erie, Pa./McDowell) (178). Ana Maestro (Seville, Spain/Albaydar) shot a 167 while playing as an individual.
