ERIE, Pa. – A pair of teams in search of their first wins in PSAC action will meet on Saturday, April 6 in a women's lacrosse match at Gannon's McConnell Family Stadium. Gannon hosts Edinboro in the first of two meetings between the local rivals.

Both teams come in with identical 2-7 records and 0-4 in the PSAC West. Gannon looks to snap a four-game losing streak after getting off to a strong start while Edinboro has lost two in a row.

Gannon started the year with three straight losses, the first two by a combined three goals. The Golden Knights won back-to-back games, a 15-8 win over Daemen and a 20-1 triumph over Malone. Since that time the Golden Knights have run up against four of the top teams in the conference, including an 18-6 setback at Slippery Rock on Wednesday.

Prior to Saturday's 5:00 p.m. contest Gannon will recognize seven seniors as part of its Senior Day festivities. The seven players include Kendra Delissio (Export, Pa./Franklin Regional), Macy Hepditch (Waterloo, Ontario/Resurrection Catholic), Alexandra Kehrig (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport), Skyler Parsons (Reading, Pa./Exeter Twp.), Madyson Schwartz (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter), Emma Uhrig (Waterloo, Ontario/Kitchener Waterloo Collegiate), and McKenna Woodworth (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads).
