Women’s Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day Against Lock Haven

ERIE, Pa. – Gannon jumped out to a fast start on Senior Day, scoring the first three goals of the contest, but Lock Haven responded with a strong first quarter and never looked back in an 18–11 decision at McConnell Family Stadium.

The Golden Knights opened the game with goals from Charlie Hunter (Boston, N.Y./Hamburg), Megan Lang (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy), and Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) to take an early 3–0 lead. Lock Haven answered with an 8–0 run to close the opening quarter and built a 10–4 halftime advantage.

Gannon battled in the second half, using a five-goal third quarter to cut into the deficit, but the Bald Eagles maintained control down the stretch to secure the PSAC victory.

Isabella Veltre (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne Central) led the Golden Knights with four goals and two assists, while Charlie Hunter (Boston, N.Y./Hamburg) added three goals and contributed across the field.
