ERIE, Pa. – The Hall of Fame Committee, along with the Gannon University Athletics Department, will recognize the McCormick's of Erie Beer Company as the Distinguished Service Award recipients at the 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame ceremonies on Saturday, February 8.

Gannon will honor current owners Michael McCormick '62, Phil McCormick '66 and Edward McCormick (deceased). For over 60 years the McCormick Family and Erie Beer have been very gracious in their support of various events for Gannon University and Gannon Athletics. They have always been great Gannon supporters and advocates for Gannon Athletics, often seen cheering on our teams at games as longtime season ticket holders. Michael and Phil are Gannon alumni, and most importantly, have always remained friends of the University and its mission.

The Distinguished Service Award is given to an individual or individuals in recognition of extended years of service to Gannon University's Athletics Department. Current members of Gannon's Hall of Fame can be viewed at www.gannonsports.com/hof.aspx.
