GAME OUTLOOK

The Gannon University women's lacrosse team will aim for its first victory of the season when its visits the first-year program of Daemen University.

The Golden Knights will play the Wildcats on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Medaille Sports Complex at Buffalo Color Park.

Coach Jennifer Pawlowski's Knights are playing their fourth consecutive road game of the season after losing to Embry-Riddle (19-8) and Florida Tech (19-7) in Florida before falling to Roberts Wesleyan (18-4) in New York.

The first win in Daemen program history came in its first game when coach Dominique Hamman's Wildcats beat Lake Erie 14-10 in Painesville, Ohio, on Feb. 26. Since then, Daemen has lost consecutive games to Walsh (21-2), Saint Rose (16-5), and No. 5 Le Moyne (19-2).

A LOOK AT GANNON

The Golden Knights have struggled offensively with an average of 6.3 goals per game while giving up about 19 goals per game.

McKenna Woodworth (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) leads Gannon with four goals. Caroline Stevens (Syracuse, N.Y./Liverpool) and Angie George (Brecksville, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) have scored three goals apiece.

Riley Finnegan (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo) and Haleigh Manning (Milton, Ga./Cambridge) have split the goalie duties. Finnegan has made three starts with 10 saves and a .244 save percentage. Manning has five saves and a .167 save percentage.

A LOOK AT DAEMEN

Graduate student Casey Decatur leads the Wildcats with 12 points on six goals and six assists. She had three goals and four assists in Daemen's win.

Junior Dana Bacher also has six goals to tie Decatur for the team lead. She had five of those goals in the Wildcats' victory.

Freshman Ella Bouley has four goals and has scored in three of Daemen's four games.

Freshman Blair Pfohl has played every minute in goal for Daemen and has 33 saves with a save percentage of 33 percent.

HOME COOKING LOOMS

After Sunday's game, Gannon is scheduled to play two home games next week at McConnell Family Stadium. The Golden Knights will host IUP on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and then Lock Haven on Saturday at 1 p.m.
