ERIE, Pa. – Gannon head baseball coach
DJ Cannon has announced schedule changes that effect his teams non-conference schedule over the next two weeks.
Sunday's originally scheduled doubleheader against D'Youville will now be played as a single, 9-inning game beginning at 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The second game of the doubleheader has been canceled.
In addition, this Tuesday's non-conference doubleheader against Lake Erie has been postponed and will now be played on Tuesday, March 29 at McConnell Family Stadium. The 9-inning game on March 29 is set for a 3 p.m. start, with the second of the doubleheader now canceled.
Gannon and Lake Erie have also pushed back the second date of the non-conference series from April 5 to Tuesday, May 3. The May 3 matchup will remain as a 3 p.m. start in Painesville, Ohio.
Following Sunday's series capper with D'Youville, the Knights will prepare for their PSAC West opener with a doubleheader at California (Pa.) on Friday, May 25. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
