MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Gannon University men's cross country team earned fifth place at Mansfield University's Ed Winrow Memorial Invite, with junior
Caleb Mandel (Harborcreek, Pa./Harbor Creek) (time of 25:49.9) running an incredible race to finish third overall (and finishing first among runners from point-qualifying teams.) The only men faster than Mandel on the day were unattached runner Ben Bumgarner in first place and Mansfield Alumnus Ryan Clifford in second place.

Shippensburg University claimed the top spot in the team standings, with all five of its runners finishing in the top eight. The Knights' top five finishers completed the 8K course in an average of 27:16.7 and a total time of 2:16.23.2. The race featured 96 student-athletes and 9 competing institutions.
