As has been the case all year head coach Shane Unger's squad faces a challenging weekend, despite some deceiving records. Gannon comes in with a 2-10 record.

Gannon faced Brown in the opening weekend of the season in the Bruno Classic, dropping an 18-9 decision. The Golden Knights own a 21-11 win at Penn State Behrend in a match played a week ago.

The Golden Knights have faced a demanding schedule to date, with five of their losses to nationally-ranked squads along with several more to teams receiving votes in the Men's Varsity Top 20.

The Golden Knights opened the 2022 season in the Bruno Classic. The Golden Knights faced a loaded field and came away with an 0-4 record while facing three nationally-ranked teams and a fourth that was receiving votes.

Following this weekend's Harvard Invitational the Golden Knights will host the CWPA Division II Championship on Friday, October 21 to Sunday, October 23. Gannon opens the championship tournament facing crosstown rival Mercyhurst on Friday at 7 p.m. They will also celebrate Senior Night. Saturday Gannon faces McKendree and on Sunday they wrap up the championships vs. Salem. Gannon hopes to capture its fifth straight CWPA Championship.

Looking Back at the Morgantown Crossover Weekend
Gannon lost all three of its matches at the Morgantown Crossover weekend while facing a stiff field. The Golden Knights opened play with a near upset of Navy, a team that was receiving votes in the Man's Varsity Top 20. The two teams went into overtime before the Middies prevailed 15-12 in overtime. Next was an 18-9 loss to No. 18 Fordham. While disappointing, the Golden Knights definitely showed improvement from earlier in the year when they lost to the Rams 28-8. Gannon ended the weekend with a 17-8 loss to Wagner.

Marjanovic Now Seventh in Career Goals
Drago Marjanovic (Belgrade, Serbia/North Allegheny (Pa.)) scored five goals at the Morgantown Crossover Weekend to top 150 career goals.
