ERIE, Pa. - Gannon senior
Alexandros Kotskar (Voula, Greece/Athinaiki Agogh) has been named a first team all-American by the ACWPC, it was announced on Thursday. He is lone Golden Knight to receive the honor and one of just eight players nationwide in Division II to earn the honor.
Kotskar's senior season was one for the record books. Twice during the year, he set program records. In back to back weeks Kotskar broke the Gannon career goals (288) and points (363) records and is now firmly atop both lists. He finished the season with 90 goals, 31 assists, and 121 total points. He was one of just two GU players with more than 100 points on the season.
Earlier this year, Kotskar was named to the WWPA All-Conference First Team following an outstanding regular season. He also received WWPA Offensive Player of the Week honors twice during the year (11/5 & 9/24, 2025).
This is the second time Kotskar has been named a ACWPC Division II First-Team All-American. He was also selected for the same honor in 2023.
