ERIE, Pa. — The Gannon cross country teams are ready to get back on the course for a shortened 2020-21 season.
The Golden Knights will face different conditions running in the spring instead of the fall, but will have two regular season meets before the PSAC Championships.
SPRING 2021 CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE
Gannon will head east for the Lock Haven Winter Invite this Saturday, getting a preview of the conference championship course. The following Saturday, the Knights will host Clarion and Mercyhurst for their annual home race at Pleasant Ridge Park.
On Saturday, March 20, Lock Haven will host the PSAC Championships, one of just two fall and winter championships still to be held by the conference in 2020-21.
The NCAA Division II postseason, including regionals and nationals, has been canceled for cross country in 2020-21.
Currently, no spectators are allowed in attendance at sporting events hosted on the Gannon campus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Access to the facility is limited to participating teams and those workers whose duties are essential to the contest.
