The Short Story: The Golden Knights picked up two conference wins Saturday at the Round Robin hosted by W&J. With these wins, Gannon protects its win streak improving to six straight games.
Jack Donnelly (Temecula, Calif./Chaparral) led the Knights with seven goals and two assists through both games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Knights beat Connecticut College in their first conference game of the season Saturday afternoon 20-9.
- Gannon didn't hold back in the first quarter vs. Connecticut scoring six goals by five different players. Donnelly scored two in the first quarter. Donnelly and Thomas Squeglia (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) combined for another five goals in the second quarter powering the Knights to eight more goals giving them a 14-3 lead.
- Connecticut held their only advantage in the third quarter outscoring Gannon 2-1, but the Knights would put another five goals in the net in the final quarter to give them their first conference win.
- The Knights closed Saturday's play with their second straight conference win beating W&J 17-10.
- The first quarter was neck and neck for both teams having each scored four goal each. The Knights pulled ahead in the second outscoring their opponent 6-1. Ethan Hamp (Chicago, Ill./Von Steuben) scored two straight goals for Gannon at the 4:40 and 4:03 mark.
- Gannon separated themselves more from W&J with four more goals in the third quarter. They led 14-7 heading into the final eight minute. Each team put up three more goals in the fourth. Tim Baer (San Diego, Calif./Classical Academy), Seth Johnson (Sugar Hill, Ga./Lanier), and David Gallion (Arlington, Va./Homeschool) scored the final three leading the Knights to a 17-10 conference win.

GAME NOTES
- Donnelly finished the day with seven goals and two assists.
- T. Squeglia added five goals, while Drago Marjanovic (Belgrade, Serbia/North Allegheny (Pa.)) added four goals and five assists.
- Â All five of Marjanovic's assists came in the second game of today's action for a new career-high. His previous career-high was three assist set last season.
- Robert Bolmanski (Erie, Pa./McDowell) scored another five goals on the day and added two assists vs. W&J.
- Jacob Hollo (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) finished with two strong performances in goal. Against Connecticut, Hollo made 15 saves, which he followed up with 12 saves vs. W&J.
