The Short Story: The Golden Knights stuck with the Rams through the first half of game three in the MAWPC Championships. Fordham led Gannon 4-3 at the break.
Thomas Squeglia (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) paced Gannon in the third quarter with three goals, but the Rams pulled away with seven goals in the fourth quarter to edge the Knights 16-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams made for a competitive first half as the Knights trailed by only one at the half.
- Joseph Agabs and Phillip Wang scored the first to goals of the game for Fordham. Robert Bolmanski (Erie, Pa./McDowell) and Jack Donnelly (Temecula, Calif./Chaparral) scored back-to-back less than a minute apart to tie the game 2-2, but Quinn Wagner would give the Rams a one point edge in the final 50 seconds.
- Defense stepped up on both sides in the second quarter, as the first six minutes failed to see a goal. Jake Miller-Tolt would strike first scoring Fordham's only goal of the quarter. Drago Marjanovic (Belgrade, Serbia/North Allegheny (Pa.)) got his first of the game with 1:30 left on the clock, and the Rams led 4-3 at the break.
- T. Squeglia scored three of Gannon's five goals in the third quarter keeping the Knights within three of the Rams, but Fordham's seven goals in the fourth quarter led them to a 16-11 win over Gannon.

GAME NOTES
- T. Squeglia and Marjanovic each scored three goals to lead the Knights.
- Donnelly added two goals, while David Gallion (Arlington, Va./Homeschool), Riley Hinkley (Meshoppen, Pa./Princeton), and Bolmanski each added one.
- Jacob Hollo (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) played a complete game in goal and made 10 saves for the Knights.
- Dimitris Koukias scored five goals for the Rams, while teammates Miller-Tolt and Wang each added four.

- Gannon will play No. 6 Johns Hopkins Saturday at 3 p.m. The Knights trail 14-0 in the all-time series.
- Johns Hopkins enters tomorrow's game 10-20 on the year. They finished 3-9 in the MAWPC East.
- They are guaranteed one more game on Sunday, which will be announced following tomorrow's action.
