The Huskies, who took both duals last season at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion, each sit at 1-2 on the season. Both losses came at a tri-meet with defending PSAC champion West Chester and Division I Lehigh, and both bounced back with lopsided wins over Division III Susquehanna last weekend. The Gannon men stayed unbeaten on the season with a 131-74 win over Clarion in the home opener, winning nine of 11 events. The women picked up four event wins and grabbed nine PSAC qualifying times, but fell in a close one to the Golden Eagles.

Gannon takes part in tournament action for the second consecutive weekend. A successful fourth-place showing at the Adrian Open on Saturday saw Chrystal Raine, Nikoly Dos Santos and Annabelle Helm all win titles in their respective weight classes. That trio remains unbeaten on the season. The trip to Canada will be a different experience, and not just with weight classes in kilograms. Last season, 27 schools and clubs sent wrestlers to the tournament, including some of the top teams in Canada, including six-time national champion Brock.
