LOCK HAVEN, PA - Gannon men's golf was well represented in this season's PSAC all-conference awards following the 2025-26 campaign.
Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) was named Athlete of the Year in the conference, while head coach
Scott Stano repeated as the PSAC Coach of the Year.
In addition,
Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy/International School of Modena) and
Mattia Parrini (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) were named to the all-conference first team. Gannon represented three of the five spots on the first team.
Seppanen led the Golden Knights in nearly every statistical category. The junior recorded a stroke average of 72.7 and finished runner-up in the Atlantic/East regional for a second consecutive season. He had five finishes inside the top five.
Notably, Seppanen tied for first twice throughout the 2025-26 campaign, including a T-1 finish at the Midwest/Central regional preview in the fall. The native of Sweden was Gannon's highest finisher at the NCAA National Championship stroke play event for a second straight year, finishing tied for 71st.
Stano, in just his second year overseeing the men's golf program, has won PSAC Coach of the Year in both seasons. The Golden Knights picked up wins in the UC Invite, Sunnehanna Collegiate, Bud Elwell Invite, Vulcan Fire Classic, and most notably, a first place result in the Atlantic/East regional. Gannon was third at PSAC Championships.
He was instrumental in the development of several new faces while also crafting a lineup that made a return to the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in the last six seasons. Combined, his team had 16 individual top five finishes throughout the year and 24 inside the top ten.
