The Short Story: They Lady Knights fell 2-0 to the visiting Indiana Crimson Hawks Wednesday night. Taylor Karan and Mackenzie Witzel scored two goals in the second half for IUP to complete the series sweep over Gannon.
Kayla Bevacqua (Welland, Ontario/Notre Dame) took a match-high nine shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams were scoreless at the half, but not without effort from the Knights. They fired off 11 shots before the break and held IUP to just two shots.
- The Crimson Hawks found the back of the net in the 58th minute. Samantha Joyce passed from the right wing to Taylor Karan who put IUP up 1-0.
- IUP took a 2-0 lead in the 82nd minute. Makenzie Witzel scored on a free kick. She sent the ball high into the top left of the net.
