Strong First Half Lifts Gannon Men’s Water Polo to Win Over W&J Saturday

The Short Story: The Gannon men's water polo team outscored W&J in each quarter and cruised to a 19-6 win on Saturday afternoon in Salem, W. Va.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Gannon trailed 1-0 to begin the match but rebounded in a big way by scoring 14 of the next 15 goals to go ahead for good.
Gannon held a 7-2 edge in scoring in the first quarter and led 12-2 at halftime.
The Golden Knights outscored W&J 7-4 in the second half on their way to win number nine on the season.
Brett Rehrer (Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills) earned the win with 15 saves and four steals in goal.
