GANNON'S INDIVIDUAL PODIUM FINISHES

Samantha Favret (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) – 200-Yard Backstroke – 2:07.38 (8th Place) … Favret swam a season-best time of 2:05.25 in the prelims to reach Saturday's finals.
400-Yard Freestyle Relay – 3:33.74 (6th Place) … Silvija Taraska (Wickliffe, Ohio/Lake Catholic), Jillian Pritchard (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin), Celia Kottakis (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) and Courteney Hubert (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) swam their best time of the season to place sixth.

ADDITIONAL GANNON RESULTS

Hubert placed 12th in the 100-yard freestyle with a career-best time of 53.22. She swam a time of 53.49 in the prelims to qualify for Saturday's finals.
Taraska was 14th in the 100-yard free with a time of 53.45, her second-fastest time of the season. She recorded a prelims time of 53.47 Saturday morning.
Kottakis was Gannon's third swimmer in the 100-yard freestyle, where she placed 21st in 53.82.
Marissa Scott (Owego, N.Y./Owego Free Academy) finished 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking a time of 2:26.60. She clocked a personal-best time of 2:25.33 in the prelims.

The Gannon women's swimming team will await NCAA National Championship individual bids.
