Gannon Women's Golf Wins Battle at the Bay; Quevedo Earns Medalist Honors

The Short Story: Gannon Women's Golf rallied on the final day to win the Battle at the Bay Invitational hosted by Eastern University. Manuela Quevedo (Bogota, Colombia/Marymount Bogota) shot a combined 158 for Medalist honors in the tournament.

Quevedo won her second tournament of the season after winning the Le Moyne Fall Invitational on Sept. 19, 2016.
Quevedo has three top-five and five top-10 finishes this season.
Munoz recorded her seventh-consecutive top 10 finish, registering sixth at the Battle at the Bay.
Gannon won its sixth tournament in seven tries this season.
It was the first tournament the Lady Knights won when trailing headed into the final round since the Clarion Fall Invitational on Sept. 22 & 23, 2013.
Sawyer's final-round 77 was her second-lowest of the 2016-17 season.

UP NEXT

Gannon heads to Blacklick, Ohio for the NC4K Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican on April 2 & 3.
The Lady Knights last competed in the NC4K Classic in the 2013-14 season and finished ninth out of 18 teams.
The tournament will be hosted at the Jefferson Country Club.
