Gannon made its second Elite Eight appearance during the program's three-year history last year, before falling to eventual national champion Baylor during the national quarterfinals.
The Lady Knights also qualified for the national championships during its inaugural season in 2014 as the seventh seed, before falling to No. 2 Azusa Pacific during the opening round.
The Lady Knights added 17 student-athletes to this year's recruiting class, growing its roster size to the largest in program history at 32.
Gannon will compete in six regular-season competitions including three home dates on Feb. 4, Mar. 11 and Apr. 8.
The Lady Knights are led by three seniors, Ciara Rand (Goodyear, Ariz./Verrado), Jessica Page (Eden, N.Y./Eden) and Angelina Grandinetti (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius).

UP NEXT

Gannon Acrobatics & Tumbling will head on the road for the second competition of the season, at Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) member, Alderson-Broaddus on Feb. 26.
The competition will begin at 2 p.m.
It will be the first ECAC conference matchup for Gannon after the Lady Knights joined Alderson-Broaddus, King (Tenn.) and Quinnipiac in forming the first Acro & Tumbling conference in the country, prior to this season.
