  • Gilberto Millan (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Jose) hit a goal at the 4:12 mark to tie the match at one.
  • Gannon led 4-2 after the first eight minutes of play.
  • Nick Williams (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge Island) led off the second quarter with a goal to extend the Golden Knight lead to 5-2.
  • The Explorers registered back-to back goals before Gannon finished the quarter scoring three-of-four goals, taking a 8-5 lead to halftime.
