Gannon Men's Water Polo Stays Perfect in MAWPC with Pair of Victories

The Short Story: The Gannon Men's Water Polo team used 18 goals to down LaSalle, 18-6, in match one of the day at Connecticut College. Zarko Sadikovic (Nis, Serbia/GTS Neimar) registered a team-high six goals for Gannon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

LaSalle saw its only lead of the match as Daniel Domotor tallied a goal at the 4:36 mark of the first quarter.
Gilberto Millan (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Jose) hit a goal at the 4:12 mark to tie the match at one.
Gannon led 4-2 after the first eight minutes of play.
Nick Williams (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge Island) led off the second quarter with a goal to extend the Golden Knight lead to 5-2.
The Explorers registered back-to back goals before Gannon finished the quarter scoring three-of-four goals, taking a 8-5 lead to halftime.
Zarko Sadikovic (Nis, Serbia/GTS Neimar) hit two third quarter goals to push Gannon out to an 11-6 advantage headed to the fourth quarter.
The Golden Knights outscored LaSalle 7-0 in the final period. Gannon pulled away with an 18-6 victory.

Gilberto Millan (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Jose) and Nick Williams (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge Island) went back-to-back to give Gannon an early 2-0 lead.
Gannon led Connecticut College 3-1 after one period.
Zarko Sadikovic (Nis, Serbia/GTS Neimar) produced two second-quarter goals to help give Gannon an 8-2 lead at halftime.
Vladmir Diaz kicked off the second half with a liner that found net.
Gannon led 12-4 headed to the final period.
Kaden Conley (Fenton, Mo./Christian Brothers College) tallied three fourth-quarter goals to help push Gannon out to a 17-5 victory.
