HomepageLAST PLAY:The Lady Knights seven-game winning streak came to a close, as they fell to PSAC and NCAA DII National Champion California (Pa.), 64-58 Wednesday evening. Senior
Jennie Thies recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 12 points and 17 boards in the loss.
EXTRA EXTRA:- The Lady Knights are 4-2 at the Hammermill Center this season.
- It will be the final Saturday night home game of the season. The Lady Knights will host a Saturday afternoon double-header on January 23, before playing their final four regular-season home games on Wednesdays.
- The Lady Knights currently occupy first place in the PSAC Western Division with a 9-2 mark in league action and an 11-4 overall record.
- Among the PSAC leaders, Gannon ranks fourth in scoring averaging 72.7 points per game. On the glass, the Lady Knights are first in defensive rebounding (35.0) and fifth in rebounding offense (40.9).
- Senior Morgan Neighbors ranks eighth in points per game (16.4) and second in three-point field goal percentage (.447).
- Senior Jennie Thies ranks second in rebounds per game (12.2) and leads the PSAC players in total rebounds (183). The senior recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 12 points and 17 rebounds in the loss to California (Pa.).
- Gannon's last loss at the Hammermill Center came against Grand Valley State on Nov. 28, 2015, 80-76.
SETON HILL HEADLINES- Seton Hill currently holds the seventh spot in the PSAC Western Division with a 5-6 mark and a 9-8 overall record.
- The Griffins fell to Mercyhurst, 67-58 on Wednesday evening.
- The Griffins were on a two-game winning streak, defeating Cheyney (64-47) last Wednesday and California (Pa.) (83-81) last Saturday in overtime.
- Mariah Wells leads Seton Hill, averaging 9.6 points and 6.6 rebounds a game.
