The Gannon men's basketball team continues a three-game homestand Saturday, February 13 against Clarion at the Hammermill Center. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m. The Golden Knights dropped a 70-51 decision at Clarion January 16. The Golden Eagles are second in the PSAC Western Division while the Golden Knights are tied for third place. The contest is part of Gannon's third annual Pink Zone doubleheader. Admission to the entire doubleheader is free of charge and all fans are encouraged to wear pink to Saturday's doubleheader.
Gannon is shooting to raise $13,000 during this year's event. The women's basketball team will raise money partially through the sale of pink, tie-dyed T-shirts. The shirts are $13 each and can be purchased in the front lobby of the Hammermill Center during Saturday's games. All proceeds raised from the sales and from the Pink Zone game will benefit the Erie chapter of the American Cancer Society -- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The Lady Knights' previous two Pink Zone doubleheaders have raised a total of $25,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The contest can be heard live on Jet Radio 1400 and via the Internet at
