Afrim Latifi's (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) third hat trick of the season lifted the Gannon men's soccer team to another important Atlantic region victory Tuesday afternoon by a 5-1 score at Seton Hill.
The sophomore recorded all three goals in the first half as the Golden Knights took a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Dan Howell (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) and
Chad Wynter (Mississauga, Ontario/John Cabot) iced the victory with second-half goals.
Steven Boehmer (Dayton, Ohio/Carroll) had eight saves between the pipes.

Gannon, ranked fifth in the latest NCAA Division II Atlantic regional rankings, improved to 9-5-1 overall with its second consecutive victory. Seton Hill dropped to 8-8-2. The Golden Knights return to action Saturday, October 25 with an important Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match against Slippery Rock. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
