Saunders led the Gannon volleyball team to a 3-1 record at last weekend's PSAC East-West Crossover hosted by Shippensburg and Millersville. The junior defensive specialist had 54 digs in 11 games, averaging 4.91 digs per game. She had a career-high 29 digs during a four-game victory at Shippensburg. It marks the most digs by a Gannon player in a match since at least the 2000 season. Only Marcie Soltesz's 29-dig performance in a five-game match on October 7, 2006 equals Saunders' effort since 2000. Saunders added 14 digs during a victory against East Stroudsburg. She leads Gannon this season in digs per game (3.84).
