Miguel Vega, a sophomore from Florida, Puerto Rico, went 5-of-9 in last weekend’s three-game series with D’Youville, including three runs scored, three stolen bases, and his first career home run that led off Sunday’s matinee. He has played in 10 games (starting nine) and leads the team with a .500 batting average (13-of-26 for the season.) His 10 stolen bases (in 11 attempts) is also a team-high total, as is his impressive on-base percentage of .594.
